  • Hello, Brett support are sucks, if al hosting have some limitation can only 500 email sent per day how works this plugin, how he can send 10.000 per day ?

    Purchase - Set Up - Send a quick message to the list - Let's Go!!!

    (2 hours later and an email from Godaddy informs me that I am exceeding the SMTP Relay limits of my hosting account, these are Max. 250 emails per day.

    Oh Good! 24 days to message my entire list..ONCE.

    But I can buy extra relays, in packs of 50, to a maximum of 500...

    Oh Good! More money to spend to bring that send rate down to a minimum of 12 days, to email once.)

    I think I'll post a question on Mr. Rutecky's Facebook group, (access permitted after product purchase), and saying that maybe it would be a good idea to tell potential customers about any possible limits from their Hosting Provider.

    I did note to Mr. Rutecky, (as an unlinked parenthesis, clearly marked as an aside to be deleted if necessary), that his plugin worked very well with a third party opt-in plugin that he could promote, if he felt the need, and make himself some extra cash.
    The parenthesis was because Mr. Rutecky does not allow product links on his Facebook posts, (understandable), and he does not allow posting directly to the group page; it must be vetted first.

    Return the next day to see Mr. Rutecky's reply.

    Mr. Rutecky, where are you... I can't find you!

    Nope! - Banned and blocked from the Brett Rutecky Facebook Group.

    Try an email...-> over a week now and still no reply.

    Check out for alternatives after hearing this inside the training for the MailIt Pluging:

    "The Mailit plugin can send emails using your own hosting or using an SMTP relay. Setting up with an SMTP relay will be slightly different and it will vary depending on the relay service that you are using.
    For the purpose of this tutorial I'm going to assume that you want to send emails with your own hosting, and that's what I'm going to show you how to set up."

    I locate a 3rd part service that allows me to send many more emails, per month, that I think will be a good start for me.
    They even provide SMTP details to use an outside facility, but it requires the use of an API Key that is readily provided.
    All I need to know is how to integrate the little extra, (slightly different), into my shiny, new Mailit Plugin.

    After all; setting up SMTP in the MailIt Plugin is only 'slightly different':

    "The Mailit plugin can send emails using your own hosting or using an SMTP relay. Setting up with an SMTP relay will be slightly different and it will vary depending on the relay service that you are using.
    For the purpose of this tutorial I'm going to assume that you want to send emails with your own hosting, and that's what I'm going to show you how to set up."

    How to set up SMTP for external service?

    Using 'xxxxxxxx' who provide an API key for external applications.

    Have entered all other SMTP parameters but they don't work.

    It is not about 3rd party software.

    In the Mailit tutorials you mention the fact that there is an alternative set of actions for SMTP integration, other than those you describe for Wordpress.

    I would merely like the tutorials to be completed to include all the possible set-up information required for this product.

    Not quit sure what this means. But if you want to use MailIt with a SMTP relay than that by definition would be a 3rd party system
    You need to contact them for information about the settings they use.

    All I am requesting is the complete tutorial to set up your product, as purchased, to any/all available options.

    What your requesting is that I give you a tutorial on how to set up MaillIt to work with a SMTP relay, in fact your actually requesting that I give you a tutorial on how to set it up with every possible SMTP relay.
    A SMTP relay is by definition a 3rd part service. Its not mine. Its not yours. Its a 3rd party and as I have told you twice now I can not give you tutorials on the needs, requirements or settings of a 3rd party. I can
    only support my own systems.

    Now you can keep insisting that I should somehow know everything about every SMTP service (even though I am in no way affiliated with them) and we can talk in circles over and over. Or you can accept what I told you
    and take the action I suggested which is to contact the support for the SMTP relay you wish to use. Its your choice.

    - I most certainly am not.

    It is not difficult, at all.

    Regardless of what I wish to do elsewhere, you state in your training, directly and accurately quoted, that the product I have purchased from you has capabilities beyond those for which you have provided tutorials.

    I would not expect you to know everything or, indeed, anything about any other products or services.

    What I would expect is for you to be able to provide details, for your own product, that should additional facility exist within that product, whether it be compatible or not, which would only be ascertained by application, how such a facility would be implemented within YOUR product.

    If I were to buy an Automobile-X and was told that the windshield wipers were interchangeable, I would not expect the dealer to tell me, "Sorry, Sir, the wipers CAN be changed but I'm not going to tell you how to do it, in case you use Dealer-Y make of wiper-blades."

    I would expect him to inform me, accurately, how to carry out the operation upon his vehicle/product and then judge for myself the subsequent efficiency and compatibility of using all or any third-party products.

    Unfortunately you refuse to do what I have suggested and as such you will not get assistance. I the time you spent arguing with me you could have contacted your
    3rd part service and asked them for integration instructions. Your refusial to listen is both pointless and counter productive.

    You are beyond help I have told you what you need to do in order to get assistance. If you choose to refuse to follow those instructions
    that is your choice.

    Does the MailIt Plugin send emails efficiently - Absolutely YES.

    Does the MailIt Plugin send, "YOU choose how many emails you want to send (there are no limits) - Absolutely NO!

    Is there a 'slightly different' way to set up SMTP in this plugin - who knows?
    (Mr. Rutecky does but he's not telling.)


    Is this a review of the MailIt Plugin, or the attitude and service of Mr. Brett Rutecky?

    I'll let the reader decide that; I know what I think; but that is probably an opinion I need to keep behind my teeth in case I'm blocked/banned from here or anywhere else.

  • Your video has been very informative. My company has purchased the entire package for the Mailit Plugin. After having my techs load the program all is well accept I have some questions pertaining to what is included in the entire package. I build my business on CRM and have sent two support messages over the past 4 days and still waiting on a response. I was on a webinar yesterday and the rule is not to answer any tech questions during the webinar which is understandable, but if I have a tech question I believe there should be a response via email. All is well, I am very focused on customer relations.

  • Hi, I am interested in the Autoresponder part of MailIT. How many emails can Mail It send as part of the Autoresponder. Can it be scheduled to sent out on a timeline, i.e. mail that goes after 1 day, then after 2 days, then after 3 days and so on. Please clarify. Thanks.
